Pinau now lives with her new family in Newcastle. She went home in December, 2003.
Stella was adopted by a family in Napa, in November 2003.
Carlo, adopted Dec 2003 by Kimberlee and James, of Folsom. Their family also includes Cheyenne, a Borzoi/GSD and Meatball, the cat. Carlo spent nearly two years in our program, but is home at last!
Here is Tahoe, who now makes his home in Nevada.
This is Angel one of the GSD/Golden littermates. Angel has a wonderful family with three human "siblings", in Carmicheal. Here she is with sitting for a treat from her littlest sister. She was adopted in July, 2003.
Here are Blue and his brother Magic, playing in Lake Tahoe. Blue was adopted in March 2003 by Alisa of Danville, CA.
This is Kietl (formerly Kieta), a malamute who now lives in Tracy, CA with her adoptive parents, Tammy and Jeremy.
Holly, a small mixed breed female, was adopted in April 2003, by Maria, a resident of Placerville.
After several tries, Katie found her forever home with a wonderful family in Nevada City. She has three human sisters and a yorkie. Katie was the last of her litter to find a home(at seven months old), and we really loved her around here. We're so thankful she found such a great home!
Oliver was only in our program for the minimum stay of two weeks. Easy to see why! He was adopted in June 2003 and lives in Gold River with Karen. Ollie is Karen's trail buddy and they hike regularly-don't let his cover boy looks fool you, he is a rugged trail Poodle!
Here are Terry and Deb with their new boy, Amigo, at eight weeks old. He now lives in Placerville with his brother, Bear!
Hunter was adopted by Karen and Michael in San Jose!
Bart was adopted in April, 2003 by Lee and Mike of Rocklin.
Logan was so sweet to his foster family that they fell in love with him! He spent the first year of his life (before he came to Mountain House Rescue) confined to a backyard and received no socialization with the outside world. During his first few months in foster care he was shy of everything- stairs, different surfaces, new people, cars, creeks, and being handled. Now he loves meeting new people and other dogs, goes running with his new mom and wags his tail more than any dog she's seen. He lives in Pacifica, CA, with another dog and two cats.
Lana was adopted in October, and makes her new home with her dad, Joe, in Tahoe City. Joe is a general contractor and Lana gets to go to work with him every day... lucky girl!
This is Maggie and her mom Hillary. Hillary lost her beautiful Pit Bull/Rott mix, Rose, to lymphoma. When it was time to consider another dog she wanted to help a needy dog rather than get a puppy. Now Maggie is living as a spoiled "only child" in Sacramento!
Willow with her sister Cassie, and new mom Nancy. She was adopted in October.
Duty was adopted by Lindsey in April, and has been trained as a facility dog.
Misty with her new parents, Sandy and Eric! She was adopted in May.
Here are Granite and Onyx, littermates adopted together by Rick and Lisa. The live with five cats in Truckee, CA and enjoy the good life.
