MHARS is a volunteer organization committed to the rescue, rehabilitation and placement into loving homes, of abandoned or unwanted dogs in northern California. We are dedicated to improving the quality of life for homeless dogs by providing a safe haven where this value is of the utmost importance. We evaluate each dog carefully during their stay in foster homes to determine their needs as part of a family and make every effort to facilitate success in their next home.
