Fly is a 12-18 month old female APBT with a very classic look. She weighs 44lbs and is tremendously athletic and keeps in very fit condition. Fly loves, loves, loves to chase a ball and anything else that moves! Our girl is a major softie, however, extremely submissive and requires a gentle touch. She is very easy to train and is so people affiliative that she will turn herself inside out to try to elicit praise. She shows lots of submission behaviors, like rolling over, but with consistent handling and maturity, perhaps this will decrease over time. Fly is very friendly and enjoys meeting new human friends when out on the town. She also gets along well with other dogs, but is still juvenile in behavior, so she may become less tolerant as she matures. Fly is not great with small pets, but has learned to leave the cats in her foster home alone, for the most part. She is good with children. Fly has started basic obedience and knows her sit and down and is learning a formal heel. Fly is a very fun and special dog. She is looking for a home that will complement her natural style!
