Sweet and sensitive Easy boy is a bully type American bulldog. He is a large dog weighing almost 100 lbs at lean weight. He has the kind of goofy bulldog face that makes everyone smile at him! Despite his big, tough-looking physical demeanor, Easy is not a macho guy, and can be withdrawing with strangers. He prefers his family and is most comfortable hanging out at home. He is also more comfortable with women than men, he took a longer time to warm up to foster dad than mom. Easy looks to have endured some rough handling and he worries about being punished as a result. At home, Easy is a typical sweet, eager, slightly doofus bulldog. He is very playful once he gets amped up, but given his bulky stature and shortened face, needs to have his exercise monitered, esp in hot weather. He does love to chase the hose and will play with it as long as you will spray him! He can be mouthy when playing, and unaware of what he is knocking over, so no small kids would be best. Easy is very easily upset by a loud voice, so he needs patient handling, as he will shut down easily. He is good in the house, mellow and calm, and he enjoys car rides. He loves to go hiking in the forest. He gets along pretty well with other dogs, but is assertive with pushy or dominant males. He never has a problem with the ladies and is wonderful with puppies. He in fine with indoor cats, but may give chase outside. Easy is looking for a home that can appreciate his sensitive side!
